Leeds fans have got yet another reason to love Luke Ayling, as the fan favourite defender said he would urge Kyle Bartley to re-join the club.
It is no coincidence that Leeds got their first clean sheet since February on Sunday on the day Luke Ayling returned to the team.
The 26 year-old right back’s injury was the start of the Leeds collapse this season, and “defensively frail” would be putting it lightly since the turn of the year.

Another major factor in Leeds looking so poor at the back is the absence of Kyle Bartley, who returned to Swansea last summer after a brilliant loan spell at Elland Road.
Fans have been blasting the likes of Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper all season, and the return of Ayling could now be boosted further if he gets his way, as the defender claims he will try to get Bartley to return to Elland Road this summer.
“I speak to him every day. I am going away with him twice this summer (to Vegas and Marbella). I’ll be in his ear, don’t you worry about that, trying to get him back,” Ayling said after the 2-0 win over QPR.
