Middlesbrough fans have been voting on whether they would like to see Tony Pulis bring Aston Villa outcast Henri Lansbury to Teesside.
The English central midfielder was frozen out under Steve Bruce and is yet to be recalled to the first team since Dean Smith took charge.
At 28, the six-foot Londoner is in need of a new home if he has any ambitions of reigniting a career that looked so promising at Nottingham Forest.
In 150 appearances at the City Ground, the Enfield-born playmaker scored 33 times and showed that the second-tier was his calling – earning the club’s captaincy, with a pass success rate higher than 74% each season and regularly snatching the ball back.

The all-round midfielder has since featured just 28 times for the Villa first team, but has still managed to match his statistical averages in claret and blue – last booting up in August for a League Cup fixture with Burton.
Although there was some resistance in the comments, 67% of Boro fans voted in a recent Football FanCast poll in favour of Lansbury joining Tony Pulis at the Riverside Stadium.
